The New Milford Lions Club are proud to announce the
2006 Scholarship Award winner is Kathryn Beckett of New
Milford. This year the scholarship is awarded in honor of
the late C. Robert Olmen. Robert Olmen was a Lion for 45
years, past New Milford Lions President and Melvin Jones
Fellow as well as a long time leader in the New Milford
community.
Kathryn will be attending American University located in
Washington D.C. pursuing a Major in International Studies
and a minor in Russian. The scholarship awarded is for
$6,000 over four years. Pictured are (L – R) parents
