New Milford Lions Main Gallery

The New Milford Lions Club are proud to announce the 2005 Scholarship Award winner is Scott Mix of New Milford. Scott will be attending Loyola College of Maryland with a Major in Biology / Pre-Med. The scholarship awarded is for $6,000 over four years. Presenting the award are (L – R) New Milford Lions Membership Chairman Arthur Peitler and Scholarship Committee Chairman Jerry Nabozny. In front is Billie Worthington, widow of Elmer Worthington. Elmer Worthington joined the New Milford Lions Club in 1930 and served for over 71 years. This years scholarship is given in his honor. Scotts parents, MaryAnn and Barry Mix attended the event.
