New Milford Lions Club

New Milford Lions Club President Art Peitler presents Peter "Flagman" Orenski with an Honorary Lifetime Membership in the club. Peter has been a driving force in New Milford with the development of New Milfords Flag and other events centered around the flag of the United States. Peter's latest project is the identification of all native New Milford Veterans going back to the Revolutionary War! Peter has designed and struck a medal to be presented to New Milford Veterans and their families.

The New Milford Lions Club prides itself in taking an active interest in the civic, social and morale welfare of the community. The New Milford Lions Club was organized as a charter club on April 18, 1929. Since its inception, the members of the New Milford Lions Club have dedicated themselves to SERVICE. The New Milford Lions Club have distinguished themselves as extraordinary citizens by donating unselfishly their own time to the success of fundraisers and service projects.
